Residents and all active team members must be full members of NextFab Studio in good standing for at least the duration of a residency, and must comply with all rules and regulations. For reasons of safety and liability, certain tools, materials, and activities are not permitted to be stored or used within offices, and only office-type equipment may be used overnight. However, residents will have overnight access to the 2nd floor lounges, kitchenette, and restrooms, and the full suite of network and software resources. In order to maintain the open collaborative spirit of the NextFab community, residents are expected to participate in the community by sharing their unique experience and skills with others on a regular basis, and by actively engaging the community as a resource for problem solving and critical feedback. Rather than a burden, residents find these interactions to be rewarding and highly productive.
