Part-Time Membership Sales Consultant

The Part-Time Membership Sales Consultant is responsible for finding the best pathway for success for new NextFab members and accelerating the growth of our membership base through consultative membership sales at Philadelphia NextFab locations. The 20 hours a week position will entail presenting, promoting, and selling NextFab’s products and services through a variety of channels, including calls, emails, and by giving tours at all NextFab locations within the region. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert on NextFab’s services and offerings.

Location:

The position will split time equally between our South Philly (2025 Washington Ave.) and North Philly location (1800 N. American St.) for 16 hours, with the option to work remotely during non-tour hours.

Responsibilities:

 • Reports to the Sales Manager
 • Work collaboratively to meet sales and membership quotas set by the Sales Manager
Qualify leads over email and phone calls, scheduling appointments with qualified leads
Conduct tours of the facilities and close prospective customers to the type of membership best suited for their needs through a consultative sales approach
Record customer interaction in the company’s CRM system to track sales performance
Produce a monthly sales plan and analysis of prior months’ metrics (in conjunction with the Sales Manager)
Assist across functions and divisions in researching, planning, and executing events, initiatives, and content as it relates to lead generation goals
Provide feedback for customer satisfaction, tour, and sales processes
Keep record of interactions with potential members
 • Review and update account on a regular basis (daily)

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience, consultative sales experience preferred
  • Mechanically inclined or able to provide recommendations for the construction of physical projects or products
  • Team Player: Demonstrates positive attitude & asks for direction when needed
  • Interviewer: Ability to interview and vet potential clients 
  • Adept at Verbal and Written Communication
  • Has experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools

Desirable Skills:

  • CRM experience preferred (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
