October Open House

Join the NextFab community at our monthly Open House! Tour our spacious facility, and meet our talented members, while discovering how you can turn your ideas into reality. This month, join us for:

• October Repair Fair: Give your broken items a second life at the Fixers Guild’s Repair Fair! Get hands-on help fixing jewelry, furniture, appliances, and more. (Check their guidelines before you go!)
• Exhibition Opening: The Love Machine [reprise] by jasmine lynea, the selected 2024 Leeway x NextFab Art + Technology Artist-in-Residence.
  • Inspired by jasmine’s sci-fi fantasy short film The Love Machine, this tangible sequel explores Black memory, joy, love, and wonder, offering a powerful space for reflection and imagination. Come celebrate and view jasmine’s work at its opening on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at NextFab. The exhibition will be on view through Thursday, December 11, 2025. 

These events are hosted as part of Second Thursdays, a neighborhood-wide event originally created by the Crane Arts Building, as a chance to explore open studios, artist showcases, and unique businesses. Be sure to check out all of the businesses at the Wheelhouse, located at 1800 N. American St.: The Resource Exchange, Sor Ynez, Keystone Bicycle Co., Center for Creative Works, Virida, FlashPCB, and Farm N’ Sea Pets.
