Apply for 24-Hour Machine Access below. This access provides additional studio hours open to more experienced members at higher tiers of membership with a reduced team of NextFab staff on duty. These exclusive hours provide an ideal environment for members work on intensive projects and production activities.

  • 24-Hour Machine Access is extended to NextFab members at any membership level and licensees who demonstrate a high level of trustworthiness, competence, and self-sufficiency, maintain their own liability insurance, and have furnished a Certificate of Insurance ("CoI") that lists NextFab as an "additional insured" as specified by NextFab-provided instructions. Members and licensees can inquire about 24 Hour Machine Access, but access is granted at the discretion of NextFab, and the total number of individuals granted access is limited by operational capacity. NextFab reserves the right to revoke 24-Hour Machine Access at any time for the violation of any of the terms of the NextFab Membership Agreement, NextFab License Agreement, rules listed in the Member Handbook, or policies for 24 Hour Machine Access below.
    24-Hour Machine Access Member Policies
    1. Members will respect our neighbors co-located in the building and will not attempt to enter areas of the building that are not reserved for NextFab member use.
    2. Members will abide by the buddy system to ensure double coverage is present at all times while using equipment that requires it outside of our supervised operating hours.
    3. Members will accurately and punctually self-report any damage to machines or tooling before leaving for the day by contacting info@nextfab.com and labeling the damaged equipment with the provided Out of Order signs before leaving for the day.
    4. Members will observe all safety precautions and use great care when operating any equipment or dangerous chemicals.
    5. Members will immediately report any accidents, injuries, or chemical spills to staff by calling an emergency contact and reporting to safety@nextfab.com.
    6. Members will not operate any equipment that they have not been previously certified to use.
    7. Members will exercise maximum self-sufficiency and operate independently during 24-Hour Machine Access.
    8. Members will complete the New Visitor form on the iPad kiosk when bringing guests in.
    9. Members will maintain shop equipment and return to normal functionality before departing.
    10. Members will perform facility maintenance as required, including checking dust collection bags, after receiving training from staff to do so.
    11. When departing the facility, members will complete a closing checklist and ensure building is secure.
