Make Music Philly is an all-day, open-access, free “do it yourself” festival taking place in various neighborhoods in Philadelphia, PA on June 21st every year. The goal is to provide an equal platform for musicians of all skill levels, interests and walks of life, and to inspire the next generation of musicians through innovative outreach programming.
We will be taking part in this celebration by hosting a gathering of local music oriented craftspeople including luthiers, amp and speaker creators, pedal conjurers, synth magic makers, and dastardly drum thumpers. You’ll get a chance to chat with these individuals about their process, gets hands on with the equipment, and kick back to the sounds of some live performances. Tours of NextFab will also be provided so you can check out our collaborative workshop and maybe get started on a project of your own!
