No matter how amazing the final product may be, the creative process is full of failures, both big and small. But the important thing to realize is that we all fail sometimes and that’s the best way to learn from our mistakes. Join us as we celebrate the failures of some of our most talented staff members in order to see how they prototype through experimentation, learn from their errors, and fail forward.
Jessica Eskow is an artist and activist living in Philadelphia, PA. She is an Electronics Engineer by education and uses her role at NextFab to reach out to underrepresented groups in the Philly Tech Scene.
Ryan Hyde is a Luthier (Guitar Maker) living and operating out of Philadelphia, PA. When not helping members in his role at NextFab, you’ll find Ryan in the wood shop, pushing the boundaries of electric guitar and bass design.
Scott Newcomb comes from an animation background and worked in the animation field for several years doing independent contracting. During his time doing animation work he found NextFab and took an interest turning what he knew as a animator into physical objects, specializing in lasers, 2D, and 3D printing.
