Join NextFab for an early evening happy hour and conversation with John Jaeger, founder of Hala Systems.
John will discuss how Hala Systems is trying to help mitigate the effects of violence against civilians in Syria and beyond. Seeking to reduce the lethality of violent acts and lessen the effects of trauma on civilian populations, Hala is in active development of predictive algorithms, computer-aided vision solutions, environmental sensor networks, and remote operations hardware.
John B. Jaeger is the founder and CEO of Hala Systems, Inc. – a for-profit social enterprise focused on some of the hardest problems in the toughest places. Before Hala, he spent 3 years as a U.S. Department of State official designing and managing an eight-figure media program in a war zone, working directly with journalists and multiple USG and ally entities to help create communications networks, develop civilian leadership, inform the populace, strengthen independent voices, increase resilience, and reduce physical, digital, and psycho-social threats. Prior to becoming a diplomat, John spent almost two decades in multiple executive and technology leadership roles in Silicon Valley and Chicago’s financial industry, designing, implementing, and managing mission-critical product and technology initiatives.
Join us at 6PM for refreshments before the discussion. Please RSVP below!
