Opening reception:

[redacted*] in Nature is a project by Khaliah D. Pitts, the selected 2023 Leeway x NextFab Art + Technology Artist-in-Residence. This project documents Black folks’ sacred and intimate relationships with nature through jewelry making, photography and poetic ethnography. Three Black Earthlovers from Philly were interviewed and in collaboration with photographer Gregory Wright, dual portraits were taken of each Earthlover illustrating how majestic, magical, and ethereal Black folks are.
