Delivering Value & Building Relationships with your Customers Online Event

June 11, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

How do you deliver the pizzazz of your products without your customers there to physically hold your products and still deliver value to them? How do you make sure your item or service is presented to your customer the way you want? And especially during this time of COVID-19, how do you deliver value digitally?

Mark Brandon, owner-maker of Destined Goods, a local home goods shop that specializes in ceramic drinkware and homeware, has built a successful following with local brands and consumers by providing products with his brand integrated from point of viewing all the way to deliverables. He knows it’s the “little things” and the specialized touches that can go a long way from building a one time purchase into a longtime valued customer.

Megan Brewster is the co-founder of Art Star, a local gallery and boutique, and co-founder of Philadelphia’s largest outdoor craft fair – the Art Star Craft Bazaar. She currently works with 50+ artists in their brick and mortar store, as well as with the Craft Bazaar to help artists and makers develop a strong customer base, deliver exceptional customer service, and understand shipping to their customers, effectively and efficiently.

In the final webinar of this five part series, we focus on the final step of online selling with Mark and Megan in this “Delivering Value & Building Relationships with your Customers” webinar on Thursday, June 11th at 1pm EST.

By the end of this webinar, you should:

• Understand the steps and calculations needed in packaging and shipping products, while adding your brand’s own dash of uniqueness
• Know how to establish and maintain lasting relationships with your customer base after the product is sold
• Understand what customer service means for you and your brand and best practices overall for sales follow ups
• Know how to ask for referrals and create an effective followup process for your customer base

About Mark Brandon and Destined Goods
Mark Brandon is the founder of Destined Goods, a Philadelphia-local handcrafted home goods shop, that specializes in ceramic drinkware and homeware, that is customizable for life’s big events, special occasions and for those you love.

His mission is to make high quality, handcrafted items that are customized to provide you with a daily reminder of your favorite memories and things. By combining natural elements of ceramic, leather, and metal, the materials can stay simple enough to stand out on their own. Yet the combination of the materials adds up to produce a flair of modern elegance. Each and every one of their items has been ideated, designed, and manufactured locally in Philadelphia, PA. The advantage of small scale production is that it allows for the maintenance of craftsmanship.

About Megan Brewster of Art Star

Megan Brewster graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2000, with a B.F.A. in Ceramics. After graduation she helped run the gallery at The Clay Studio in the Old City section of Philadelphia. She continued to develop her own work on the side, but found it frustrating and difficult to do so without adequate studio space. She also found that there were limited venues in Philadelphia for the type of work that she was creating. She joined forces with Erin Waxman and began selling her work at a series of local craft shows that they had developed. In 2004, the two decided to open up their own gallery and boutique, Art Star.

Art Star is a gallery and boutique located in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. They carry handmade items and products by artists throughout the country, as well as a handful of international artists. They also work closely with select artists to design and develop limited edition products. Their goal is to offer well crafted items at a full range of prices to accommodate everyone’s budget. They currently work with 50+ artists and stock everything from one-of-a-kind pieces to housewares, prints, jewelry, clothing and more. In addition to their brick-and-mortar shop, they also put on Philadelphia’s largest outdoor craft fair – the Art Star Craft Bazaar, which won Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly Award for Best Shopping Event in 2010.
