About the Course

In this two-part class, learn how to safely and confidently operate the torch for the annealing and soldering of jewelry metals (only available at our North Philly location). Make three, customized projects: a custom sterling silver ring, a bracelet, and a pin. Explore metal characteristics and qualities through demonstrations and detailed instruction. 
Machine/tool access: Jewelry Soldering Stations
 
  1. The instructor will review jewelry setups and terms: Metallurgy, Annealing, and Pickling
  2. Review the safe use of the soldering tank
  3. Members will then get to practice their new skills and create jewelry to take home
