About the Course

In this two-part course, you will learn how to safely and confidently operate the torch for the annealing and soldering of jewelry metals. Make three customized projects: a custom sterling silver ring, a bracelet, and a pin. This class is packed with soldering tips and tricks for beginners and those looking to improve their technique. Explore metal characteristics through demonstrations and detailed instruction.

  1. The instructor will review jewelry setups and terms: Metallurgy, Annealing, and Pickling
  2. Review the safe use of the soldering tank
  3. Members will then get to practice their new skills and create jewelry to take home
