What Is Build Your Own Pathway?

Build Your Own Pathway is a flexible class package built for makers who already know (or are starting to figure out) what they want to make, but want expert support to get there efficiently. Instead of following a fixed curriculum, you choose your own combination of classes and work directly with a NextFab technical educator in each department to shape your project from concept to finished piece.

Here’s what’s included:

• A package of up to 4 classes, worth $600 in class credits
• 2 months of NextFab membership, giving you access to our shops and equipment between sessions
• One-on-one time with technical educators who can tailor instruction to your specific project
• Total flexibility on scheduling, allowing you to book your classes at your own pace, whenever it works for you

All of this comes at a package price of $999.

Traditional class schedules don’t always match up with how a real project comes together. Maybe you need a 3D printing class now, but won’t be ready for a finishing or assembly class until a few weeks later. Please note: The furniture class series are geared toward intermediate woodworkers that are already comfortable using woodworking equipment. You will need to meet with staff ahead of these series for a complimentary one hour proficiency check. All materials are included, except for the wood of your choice. This package includes 2 months of membership.
