At NextFab, we provide access to machinery, education, membership, community, events, and professional services for anything you want to fabricate. Our 64 sq ft rentable studio spaces within our 24,000 sq ft makerspace community give artisans and entrepreneurs the opportunity to expand their business, brand, or creative practice, and collaborate with other like-minded creatives.

Included In Studio Spaces:

  • A NextFab Membership (discounts available for additional business partners or employees).
  • Full Access to the NextFab makerspace’s shops and tools.
  • Dedicated 64 sq ft private studio space within the North Philly makerspace.
  • Month-to-month and annual rate options are available.
  • Rentals include a certified business address at NextFab, and shipping and receiving service for your materials and products.
  • Additional amenities include Electric, HVAC, and WiFi.
  • Parking lot and load-in area.
  • Optional 24-Hour Access by providing a Certificate of Insurance.

About This Makerspace

NextFab North Philadelphia is a new hub for the creative economy, purpose-built to serve craft businesses and artisan entrepreneurs. Highlighted by our unique jewelry and textile studios, NextFab’s newest space opened in spring of 2020 in a spacious warehouse space at 1800 N. American Street, in the Kensington neighborhood. This new spot boasts five times the interior space as the previous location, while still offering the tight-knit community vibes, the tools, training, and the concierge-like service that makes NextFab like none other. The more than 30,000 square foot space is custom fit for the creative maker in mind, with specialized features including flexible studios, expanded departments, enhanced storage, additional programming, and more.
